Research Subject

MR Imaging to Investigate Relationship of Functional and Structural Brain Connectivity’s through Joint Analysis.


In recent years, diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and functional MRI (fMRI) used in cognitive neurosciences to examine the brain's white matter (WM) micro-structures and gray matter (GM) functions, respectively. It is well-justified to combine these two neuroimaging modalities together to understand structural and functional brain connectivity and the relationship. The aim in this project is multimodal fusion of DTI and fMRI to investigate brain networks relationship with different features. Also improving the image quality is another goal of this resreach.
